Our Story
From One Neighborhood Taquería to a Boston Favorite
El Barrio began in October 2018 with a simple idea: create a place where the neighborhood could gather, eat well, and feel at home. Our first location opened in the heart of Dorchester, built on the belief that fresh food, friendly faces, and genuine hospitality bring people together.
From day one, our mission has stayed the same serve good food, offer good service, and welcome every guest like family. Today, with four Boston-area locations, we continue to celebrate our community through flavor, music, and the vibrant spirit of Mexico.
